At Puerto Tabla you will be able to enjoy a peaceful time, and if you wish, you can have a ccess to some outdoor activities.

SPORT FISHING

If you like trout fishing you have plenty of options. You can either try a river opening for fly casting or practice spinning from a rock. You can also rent a boat for deep-water fishing.

RAFTING & KAYAKING

Bariloche offers different options for almost all outdoor activities. Rafting & Kayaking, are half or all day long activities. These adventure tours take you through different levels of difficulty down rivers Limay and Manso. During these rafting tours you can enjoy the beautiful rock formations of "Valle Encantado" (enchanted valley) along the Limay River, or the lush Andean forest vegetation along the Manso River. You can also practice some kayaking at Lake Mascardi.

HORSE RIDING

Horse Riding tours will help you discover the real geography and culture of Patagonia. The slopes of Mount Tronador, around Gutiérrez Lake, up Campanario Mount, several days ride along the steppe, getting involved in the activities of an “estancia” (farm) - you’ll surely find a tour to suit you. From a couple of hours ride to several days adventures.

MOUNTAIN BIKE, TREKKING AND ROCK CLIMBING

There are plenty of options, with different levels of difficulty and duration. Examples of one day treks are: Mounts López, Otto, or Catedral (in summertime). Longer tours (2-3 days) are also available, such as Jacob Lake, Frey or Tronador Mounts (one of the highest mountains in the area).
There are also many sites to practice rock-climbing.

CERRO CATEDRAL - Winter

Puerto Tabla is located 15 km away from one of the most renamed ski centers in the world for its beauty: Cerro Catedral. Catedral has its village, with hotels, bed & breakfasts, casino, and a shop area. You can find plenty of cozy refuges, where you can have lunch, coffee or a hot chocolate, enjoying the beautiful view close to a warm fireplace. Cerro Catedral's ski tracks are located at more than 1,000 meters above sea level.

LLAO LLAO HOTEL

Only 5 km away from Puerto Tabla you'll find the fabulous Llao Llao Hotel, with its panoramic view. It’s strategically located between Lakes Moreno and Nahuel Huapi. You can make reservations to enjoy its services and/or shows.
